You can experience a full, no-obligation demonstration in your home or online.
You choose a starter and a main from a set menu, buy the ingredients, and when I arrive with my Thermomix we cook together. You will see all the functions, taste the food and ask as many questions as you have. You will get my honest opinion and I will help you decide whether it is right for you and your family, but the choice is yours and there is no obligation.
How a home demonstration works
I will first ask you a few questions about your cooking habits, any dietary restrictions, and the challenges you have in the kitchen.
Online, you watch. At home, you can join me in the cooking. Either way you will see the different functions and realise how many kitchen appliances it can replace.
You and your family taste the food and see how easy it is to cook from scratch in less than an hour.
I explain all the benefits of having a Thermomix and go through all your doubts, but there is no obligation whatsoever. You can take your time to decide whether it is the right choice for you and your family.
What happens at a home demonstration, step by step
- You tell me what you like to eat and anything you cannot eat. I send a menu built around it.
- You buy the ingredients for the menu you chose. Nothing else to prepare.
- I arrive, set up on your worktop and we start cooking. Nothing is prepared in advance.
- We cook the dessert first, then the starter, then the main. You can ask as many questions as you need, and of course taste everything.
- I show you the real running costs, the payment options and what is included.
- You think about it. If you want to order, I do the paperwork with you. If not, that is genuinely fine.
After you buy: the welcome visit
Once your machine arrives I come back, set it up with you, get you into Cookidoo® and cook the first recipe together. Included, not an extra.
Common questions about demonstrations
Do I have to buy anything at a Thermomix demonstration?
No, just the ingredients. Demonstrations are free and there is no obligation to buy. Many people book one to rule the machine out, which is a perfectly good reason to book.
How long does a Thermomix demonstration take?
An in-home demonstration takes about 90 minutes. An online demonstration takes about 60 minutes.
Do I need to invite other people?
No. A one-to-one demonstration at your kitchen table is completely normal. If you would like to invite friends you are welcome to, and I will cook for the group.
What do I need to provide?
The ingredients, a worktop, a plug socket and a sink. I send you the menu in advance so you know exactly what to buy. I bring the machine and everything else, and I clear up before I leave.
How far will you travel?
Get in touch with your postcode and I will tell you straight away whether I can come to you. If I cannot, we can do an online demonstration where I explain everything and you see exactly the same functions.
